Lee Adams - our
‘Traps’ player in Jazz Legend. Lee is an
international percussionist who meticulously recreates the authentic
performances of the most famous drummers of the last 100 years.

Graham Quilter – on
clarinet and saxophone. Royal Academy trained, Graham is much
in demand as a solo performer and orchestral reed player as well as a
jazz recreator. He specialises in performing the legendary solos of the
all time great players. Hear him perform Sidney Bechet’s
Petit Fleur on
clarinet and the sultry alto saxophone feature Harlem
Nocturne on our CD.

Nigel Blenkiron – a
great all-round trumpet player whose tribute to Louis Armstrong in the
Saint Louis Blues
on our CD is absolutely

Tony Turner – trombone.
Tony’s performance journey began in Lancashire brass bands,
continued through national big band and orchestral playing, and has now
brought him to admire the unique trombone style of one of the most
famous jazz band leaders, Edward ‘ Kid’ Ory. Tony
performs Kid Ory’s showcase Creole Trombone on the CD.
Steve Brooke – our
piano professor. Steve’s brilliant playing is much in demand
in the North of England and we are delighted to have his excellent
piano work and sizzling solos in our ensemble.

Kathy Seabrook – Kathy
is one of the country’s leading flautists, having performed
with several of the UK’s leading orchestras, but her amazing
ability on the tenor saxophone is the special feature of Jazz Legend.
